14 No-Code Tools To Try (And Adopt) In 2023

Assuming you follow the Device Consultant blog or buy into our pamphlet, you’ve seen that we’ve been discussing no-code for a long time. The no-code design has been changed and organized around organizations, B2B powerhouses, and progressively special instruments to become fundamental for explicit situations (testing of thoughts, the quick advancement of devices, and supplanting conventional SaaS programming).

We see no-code drives duplicate from the French no-code local area to bulletins regarding the matter and some no-code organizations sending off into this portion. It’s alright on the off chance that you see no-code engineers show up among your Linkedin associations.

Today we present a determination of 14 no-code devices for you to attempt. We audit the fundamental no-code utilizes: site creation, versatile application, chatbot, or efficiency application. To no one’s surprise, we attempted to track down you a few chunks!

What Is No-Code?

A no-code instrument (here and there spelled “no code” or “no code”) is utilized, as its name proposes, to make a site, an application, or numerous different things without composing a solitary line of code. It’s basic, and you never again need to know how to code to create!

No-code programming or stages frequently depend on visual programming inside a web interface utilizing the instinctive “simplified” technique to improve particular items open to several individuals as could reasonably be expected. No-code instruments make it conceivable to abbreviate the execution season of a venture by liberating it from technical limitations.

What Are The Differences Between No Code And Low Code?

The notion of no code should not be confused with that of low code. Low-code solutions save developers time but require coding, whereas no-code platforms free you from coding.

In summary :

  1. No-code application: intended for non-developers without the need to code;
  2. Low-code application: intended for developers to save time in IT development by reducing coding time without eliminating it.

We’ll see you coming! This is a summary. Many developers use no-code platforms to create specific projects, and sometimes it is necessary to know how to code to customize the no-code tools.

The Four Advantages Of No-Code Solutions

Understanding the benefits of no-code tools requires understanding how no-code works and “thinking.” No-code tools allow you to code without code. They are no longer replacement tools but real alternative solutions. No-code solutions are not (or no longer) tools for developers with fewer features.

No-Code Tools Make You More Agile

You no longer need to learn to code to develop a web project; you can test your idea or create a product quickly. This allows you to be more creative and create web projects for non-developers.

No-Code Tools Save You Money

The no-code is not free but saves you from going through an agency to create your site, application, or any web project. There are no-code agencies and developers, but they will cost less than a classic development agency, thanks to advantage number 3.

No-code Tools Save You Time

There is no detailed study on the subject, but no code allows you to create your web project more quickly (for a similar project). The intuitive “drag-and-drop” method saves you long lines of code and valuable development days.

No-Code Tools Make Web Development Accessible To Everyone

The main advantage of no-code (even if we put it in 4th position) is to allow non-specialists to create web projects (more) easily. It’s a (small) revolution that makes entrepreneurship, side projects, or learning to develop (no-code obviously) accessible to everyone. The no-code makes it possible to democratize the creation of online projects. And just for that, we love it!

Necessary precision is all the same: the no-code is not the miracle solution. The tools meet various needs: testing a project, creating a site, an app, a chatbot, or a simple web project, but no code is only the solution for some things. The no-code also has limits; we advise you to assess your needs carefully.

If you have a complex project, you may be blocked by the limits of no-code tools. You will have to move on to more traditional development, which can be complicated (and expensive, time-consuming, and hell, if you have anticipated incorrectly). Let’s move on to our selection of no-code tools! We are going to list only some of the existing tools. It is impossible. We have selected the most useful, used, or recognized tools to give you a global view of the market.

No-Code Automation Tools

Zapier

Let’s start with one of the most famous no-code tools: Zapier. It is a no-code application that allows you to automate many (many!) actions between different tools. Nothing better than to illustrate with an example. We at Tool Advisor are heavy tool users without Zapier and no personalized and automated software recommendations. Thanks to “zaps,” the name given to automation, we link our questionnaire tool with a database linked with an emailing tool to automatically send you an email with our recommendation in a few seconds.

The uses of Zapier are unlimited: notifications in Slack, sending emails, marketing automation, automation of managing your social networks, or project management. The BtoB software we study often offers a Zapier integration, linking their software with other tools. Slight downside: we are satisfied users of Zapier, but we were more satisfied before.

Prices have increased by 25% between 2022 and 2023, and Zapier is very good on vendor lock-in (yeah, we know some fancy words). Once you use Zapier, leaving is easy since you have to recreate all your automation in another tool. If you are new to automation, we recommend the tool (Make), which is cheaper and more complete now. We are too busy postponing our migration from Zapier to Make. The uses of Zapier are unlimited:

  1. Notifications in Slack
  2. Sending emails
  3. Marketing automation
  4. Automation of the management of your social networks
  5. The management of projects

Make (Formerly Integromat)

Make (ex-Integromat) is the number 1 alternative to Zapier. The no-code tool has two advantages over its competitor: it is cheaper and more complete. Make has overtaken Zapier (something unthinkable a few years ago) thanks to its ease of use. The many automation possibilities make it the ideal tool when your automation needs are essential.

No-Code Website Creation Tools

Webflow

Webflow is a CMS ( Content Management System ) that allows you to create a website easily for a very professional rendering. The tool is aimed more at developers and designers, but the resources available make it accessible to anyone who has some elbow grease in stock.

Easier to use than WordPress, Shopify, or Wix, the no-code tool allows you to launch a side-project or LP (aka landing page) in a few hours. Many responsive templates are available to create a website quickly.

Umso (Formerly Landen)

Umso, no-code software makes it easy to create with a unique method:

  1. You answer several questions about your project;
  2. Umso directs you to a solution based on your answers;
  3. You edit your project;
  4. You have to publish it.

It’s a good tool when you have small design or development skills. This allows you to be accompanied in creating your website without starting from a blank sheet.

No-Code Mobile App Creation Tools

This is one of the most common uses of no-code. Many players offer to create an app without a single line of code.

Bubble

The Bubble no-code tool works on the classic “drag and drop” model and allows you to design and develop a mobile application without writing a single line of code. The advantage of Bubble is to create simple and complex applications, and it is an excellent tool to test an idea quickly and release an MVP without asking an agency to develop a superior product for you.

Adalo

Adalo is an exciting alternative to Bubble to create your mobile application without coding. Unlike the latter, you can develop your no-code application from Adalo for free by paying only if it is published on the AppStore or the PlayStore. Prices start at 50€/month.  The price is often the number 1 advantage of no-code solutions, a mobile application developed by professionals often costs more than 10,000 euros without counting maintenance costs, corrections, or support once the application is published.

Glide

Glide works differently than the two no-code tools shown below. With Glide, you create a mobile application from a Google Sheet. Yes, you read correctly.  Each field of your Google Sheet corresponds to a part of your application. It may seem not easy, but by ordering all your data within your Google Sheets (visuals, graphics, texts, separators, colors, lists), you end up with an application directly on Glide.

No-Code Data Management Tools

The two tools presented in this section are at the crossroads of data management, spreadsheets, and project management. These are Excel spreadsheets “on steroids.”

Air Table

The Airtable software is, like Zapier, one of the best-known no-code tools. This SaaS tool combines databases and spreadsheets to create projects without coding like:

  1. A CRM ;
  2. Project management software ;
  3. Forms;
  4. Dashboards;
  5. Time tracking software.

The above list needs to be completed. The no-code Airtable platform emphasizes automation, customization, and integrations. Be careful, though, and the handling can be complex.

ClickUp

ClickUp is the number 1 alternative to Airtable. Less known than the latter, the company raised $100 million in December 2020. The list of features displayed on the site is as long as our article on the 66 must-have KPIs for your business. In details :

  1. To-do list ;
  2. Project management ;
  3. Wiki;
  4. Spreadsheet;
  5. Time management ;
  6. Management of objectives;
  7. Reminder ;
  8. Management of your teams.

ClickUp promises to combine the following tools in a single software: Excel, Jira, Monday, Todoist, Wrike, Basecamp, Asana, Trello, and… Airtable.

Other No-Code Tools

Seraphin. Legal

Seraphin. legal is a no-code contract management tool that allows lawyers and professionals to automate the entire signature cycle: drafting, negotiation, validation, signature, monitoring, and archiving. The India no-code tool centralizes the company’s contractual resources, frees up time for legal teams, and connects contractual data to the company’s tools.

Pandasuite

Pandasuite is a no-code platform that lets you build mobile and desktop apps. It is an all-in-one platform that meets many use cases:

  1. Internal communication applications
  2. Interactive content creation
  3. E-learning
  4. Dynamic displays on other media (walls, tables, or terminals)

The icing on the cake, the no-code platform is French, unlike most of the tools mentioned in this article.

Chatfuel

Chatfuel is, as the name suggests, no-code software that lets you create chatbots for Facebook, Instagram, and Messenger. What is its use? According to figures put forward by the company, the no-code chatbot helps increase sales, better qualify your leads and automate your customer relationship.

At Tool Advisor, the explosion of chatbots is like the fall of bitcoin: announced many times but never happened.  We tell you that, but we must still be convinced of chatbots’ usefulness in automating specific tasks. It also allows us to better understand the needs of its prospects and customers.

Notion

The notion is one of our favorite tools at Tool Advisor for managing our internal notes, projects, and documentation. It integrates seamlessly with many other tools and is fully customizable. It “becomes” a no-code tool when you use it to build your own CRM or project management tool or integrate it with your existing software.

Memberstack

The last no-code tool of our selection, Memberstack, allows you to manage user accounts and paid subscriptions to your websites using a simple javascript code to insert on your site. Memberstack also integrates with CMS or tools like Webflow, Wix, or WordPress.  The no-code software allows you to manage registrations and recurring payments easily.

There are many use cases: monetization of newsletters, community management, SaaS subscription, or e-learning. The no-code software provides an easy-to-deploy and secure solution to monetize your projects.

If you need a final argument for testing no-code tools, we found it with a study by Gartner, to whom we owe the famous Magic Quadrant. According to a study by an American company, in 2023, more than 50% of companies will use a no-code application. There’s still time to be among the first to follow the trend!

What Is A No-Code Tool?

A no-code tool creates a website, application, or many other things without writing a single line of code. No-code software or platforms often rely on visual programming through the intuitive “drag and drop” method to make the development of specialized products accessible to as many people as possible. No-code tools make it possible to shorten the implementation time of a project by freeing it from technical constraints.

What Are The Differences Between No Code And Low Code?

The notion of no code should not be confused with that of low code. Low-code solutions save developers time but require coding, whereas no-code platforms free you from coding.
